Sastanak predsjednika Poslovnog vijeća za gospodarsku suradnju s Australijom HGK i izvršnog direktora Europsko-australske poslovne mreže

U Sydneyju je 29. kolovoza održan sastanak predsjednika Poslovnog vijeća za gospodarsku suradnju s Australijom HGK Marka Marića i izvršnog direktora Europsko-australske poslovne mreže Jasona Collinsa, uz sudjelovanje predstavnika Generalnog konzulata RH u Sydneyju i predstavnika Australsko-hrvatske gospodarske komore Novog Južnog Walesa.

Na sastanku je dogovoreno održavanje sastanka Poslovnog vijeća za gospodarsku suradnju s Australijom 8. studenoga u Zagrebu, na kojem će se predstaviti stanje pregovora EU i Australije o potpisivanju Ugovora o slobodnoj trgovini te mogućnosti intenziviranja gospodarske suradnje Hrvatske i Australije. Sastanku će prisustvovati Jason Collins sa suradnicima te veleposlanica Australije u Hrvatskoj Elizabeth Petrovic. Tom će prilikom članovi australske delegacije posjetiti Podravku d.d. u Koprivnici.

Intenziviranju gospodarske suradnje treba pridonijeti i najavljen posjet hrvatske gospodarske delegacije Australiji u prvom kvartalu iduće godine, a potvrđen je dolazak australske gospodarske delegacije u Hrvatsku u travnju iduće godine, što će biti prvi organizirani posjet jedne australske poslovne delegacije Hrvatskoj. Australski su predstavnici naglasili zanimanje za investiranje u infrastrukturne projekte, ali i u industriju i usluge.

Meeting between the President of the Business Council for Economic Cooperation with Australia and the Chief Executive Officer of the European Australian Business Council

 

On 29 August, a meeting of the President of the Business Council for Economic Cooperation with Australia, Marko Marić, and the Chief Executive Officer of the European Australian Business Council, Jason Collins, was held in Sydney, with the participation of representatives of the General Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Sydney and representatives of the Australian Croatian Chamber of Commerce NSW.
Participants of the meeting agreed to hold a meeting of the Business Council for Economic Cooperation with Australia on November 8 in Zagreb, at which the status of EU-Australia negotiations on the signing of the Free Trade Agreement and the possibility of intensifying economic cooperation between Croatia and Australia will be presented. The meeting will be attended by Jason Collins and his associates, as well as Australian Ambassador to Croatia Elizabeth Petrovic. On this occasion, members of the Australian delegation will visit Podravka d.d. in Koprivnica.
The intensifying of economic cooperation should also be enhanced by the announced visit of the Croatian business delegation to Australia in the first quarter of next year, and the arrival of the Australian business delegation to Croatia in April next year, which will be the first organized visit of an Australian business delegation to Croatia. Australian representatives emphasized their interest in investing in infrastructure projects, but also in industry and services.
