IGLO, the most important Brussels research and development network, has unanimously admitted the Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) as its full member

CCE Representative Office in Brussels is the only Croatian representative in this organization, due to the programs for the strengthening of the research and development of the innovations and their connection to the science and economy.

IGLO is the informal RTD network of the 27 member’s offices, whose main activity is to stimulate the cooperation of the members and European institutions, on the national level. CCE’s membership is generally viewed as positive, due to all the activities for strengthening the relations between the science and economy, in order to improve the competitiveness of Croatian companies on the European market, as well as to position Croatia as the country of many significant innovations. IGLO finds the CCE’s initiative for the implementation of CIRAZ (Centar za inudustrijski razvoj – Industrial Development Centre) especially praiseworthy; the Centre is going to be established in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, with the EU as co-financier and with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

The purpose of CIRAZ is to stimulate the economy development through the process of making precise relations between the economy and science, using innovations, research and development.
